The Curse of La Llorona is one of the best horror files produced by James wan released in 19th April 2019.There are many award winning movies by James Wan: Saw, Conjuring, Lights Out, Annabelle and The Nun and many more in the past decade upto date. The best part of his movies is that, Most of the movies are based on true stories and real life incident that happened and reported. The Demon in “The Nun” movies is actually real. The movie Conjuring is based on the true Storied encountered by Ed and Lorraine Warren. Behind La Llorona is not based on a true story but it is based on a very popular legend very famous in mexico, The one which parents use to prevent children from staying out at night. My opinion is that its a great movie overall and i will rate 7/10.

La Llorona in Spanish means “The Weeping Woman” or “The Cry”.This is most often mentioned as a folks tale but it might be true. There is only one way to find out. 

In the Urban Legend it is said that the women named “Maria” lived in a small village, Somewhere in Mexico. She was the most beautiful women in her village. One day, a young merchant came to that village. After seeing her beauty, He fell in love with her. They married happily and she gave birth to two beautiful boys.

After few years, One day she found her husband with another young women. She became very angry and filled with wrath she desperately wanted to punish her husband for what he did. She wanted to take everything from him like the same way he took everything from her. The most precious thing he had were the children. Filled with anger , hate and revenge. She took her children to a river and killed them by drowning.

After realizing what she did to her two beautiful children. She felt great guilt and committed Suicide. She committed the two great sin 1.Murder 2.Suicide. She was banned from entering heaven and hell. After that she roamed the surface of earth in search of children to replace her loss. She was seen always with a cry that’s how the name came “La Llorona” which mean “Weeping Women”. Even in the present day people use these urban legends to scare their children preventing them from staying out late in night.

This Movie goes in a orderly fashion way and also contains delight humor  which is the highlight of this movie. Demon in this movie is shown as a  very powerful one. The mother tried to save her two children who have hear the cry of La Llorona, Which is very bad. Through Out the movie the director shows the demon in the best ways to scare us.

This movie is worth watching and worth your time. Do not see it alone, cause La Llroana will come  and get you. Lol, I was just joking
